Print The North Request a quote

Broken plastic part? Send us the part or the file. We'll make it.

We make replacement and custom parts in a strong, heat-resistant engineering plastic. Send a photo, the broken piece or a 3D file, and we reply with a quote.

What we make

Most jobs start with something that broke. Brackets, clips, housings, knobs, gears, covers and mounts, made to fit where the original did.

Replacement parts

Send the broken part or clear photos with a measurement. We work out the shape and make a new one.

Parts from your file

Have an STL, 3MF or STEP file? Send it and we print it as drawn.

Reverse engineering

No file and a part too damaged to copy? We measure what is left and model it for you.

Parts for demanding places

Near engines, heaters, tools or chemicals, where ordinary plastics soften, warp or crack.

Our specialty: a stronger plastic

We print in PPS, a high-performance engineering plastic, in two reinforced grades: PPS-GF20 (glass fibre) and PPS-CF (carbon fibre). It is one of the strongest and most heat-resistant plastics you can print, and it holds up against many oils, fuels and chemicals.

The glass-filled grade is tough and stiff. The carbon-filled grade is stiffer still, for parts that must not flex. Tell us what the part does and we recommend one.

Most print shops stay with PLA or PETG, which soften in a hot car. These materials do not.

Printed parts are strongest along the layer lines and weaker between layers. When you send a part, we choose the print direction to suit the load it will carry.

  • 236 °CHeat deflection temperature under light load for PPS-GF20, from the maker's datasheet.
  • 64 MPaTensile strength along the layers for PPS-GF20, from the maker's datasheet.
  • Two gradesGlass-filled for tough, stiff parts. Carbon-filled when you need even more stiffness.

Two ways to order

Tell us what the part does and we recommend an order type and a material grade.

Functional

Up to 180 mm
  • Heat-treated (annealed) after printing
  • For parts that carry load or sit in the heat

Prototype

Up to 200 mm
  • Not annealed
  • For fit checks, trials and parts that stay cool

How it works

  1. Send your request

Your name, email, phone and a photo or file on the quote page.

  2. Get a quote by email

We reply from [email protected] with a price and a timeline.

  3. We make your part

Once you approve the quote, we arrange payment with you and print it.

Custom projects are welcome

Not sure your idea fits? Describe it anyway. One-off parts, small batches and design help are all fair game.
